| The steel-reinforced industrial floor system
Industrial floors using the KIESERLING® STAHLFASERBETON system are extremely durable and wear-resistant according to the appropriate standards. Again, these industrial floors are concrete floors of monolithic construction with a hard aggregate component, likewise, therefore, "fresh-in-fresh".
Unlike with floor slabs reinforced with woven steel, the structurally effective properties in KIESERLING® FASERBETON are provided by steel fibres lying three-dimensionally in the cross-section of the slab.
The specially added steel fibres replace the otherwise usual steel matting reinforcement in this case. This saves construction time and lowers costs.
We recommend the BEB [Federal Flooring Association] information sheets for the design and planning of your industrial floor.
